This intensive programme was meticulously designed to enhance the skills and efficiency of local customs officials, comprising two main components:
2-Day Train the Trainer Course: This segment aimed to equip local trainers with advanced skills and methodologies. The focus was on how to effectively use the Simfox X-ray and CT simulator to train and test their students. Trainers were shown how to utilise the customisable functions of the Simfox programme, enabling them to tailor training scenarios to specific needs and threats their students might encounter. This hands-on experience ensures that trainers are well-prepared to deliver high-quality instruction and assessments independently.
5-Day Image Interpretation Course: Specifically designed for operators, this course provided intensive training focused on the inspection of cabin baggage, luggage, and containers. Operators of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan learned to accurately identify potential security threats using the Simfox simulator, which offers a realistic simulation environment to practice and hone their detection skills. This immersive training helps improve the effectiveness and efficiency of security operations.
To further enhance the training experience, Renful showcased the EyeFox technology through a live-streamed demonstration from the Neural Guard R&D lab. EyeFox is an AI-based automated threat detection system that analyses X-ray images in real-time, significantly boosting detection accuracy and operational efficiency by minimising false alarms and maximising throughput.
