On Monday 15th of October a Russian businessman Mikhail Skoblionok and his assistant were injured while attempting to open a package received earlier that morning. The item of mail exploded in the businessman’s office in Kazan, Tatarstan Region, Russian media reported.
According to reports, Skoblionok and his assistant received burns and eye injury and are currently being treated at a local hospital.
The commercial activity of the businessman was thought to be one of the main motives for the murder attempt.
The case is a reminder to all Mail companies that they are responsible not only for quick and efficient delivery, but for the safety of the recipients!
