Norwegian Cruise Line purchases Simfox and Trefox

Norwegian Cruise Line has purchased Renful’s Simfox (Simulator For X-ray) and Trefox (Training
Essentials For X-ray), following an online training course delivered by Renful to three of the cruise
line’s managers over Zoom. The cruise line has obtained fifteen Simfox licenses, which will enable
them to conduct comprehensive training and testing of their X-ray screeners. In addition, the Trefox
x-ray screener training course will provide comprehensive Computer Based Training to newly
recruited x-ray screeners
. Norwegian Cruise Line has recently started offering cruises again after the
Covid shutdown. Norwegian Cruise Line is headquartered in Miami, and, prior to Covid, was the
third-largest cruise line in the world by passengers, controlling about 8.7% of the total worldwide
share of the cruise market. The cruise line will restart operations at a reduced capacity with
Norwegian Jade, Joy, and Gem as the first of its 17-ship fleet to welcome guests back on board.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s president and chief executive officer Harry Sommer said “Over a year after
we initially suspended sailings, the time has finally come when we can provide our loyal guests with
the news of our great cruise comeback. We have been working diligently towards our resumption of
operations, focusing on the guest experience with safety at the forefront.”
